In September and October 2011 the Orchard and Oxford Street windows of Selfridges, the world famous department store, will be the Museum of Everything, a large scale contemporary art project which will have over 200 art drawings, paintings and sculptures from progressive art studios from all over the world. The exhibition is titled ‘#4’ or ‘number four’ and will be the largest project ever to take over the popular department store. There will be exhibitions all along the streets in the shop windows as well as a large one inside Selfridges.

The project champions some of the very best from untrained and unexhibited artists from across the UK and even farther afield. There is also a dynamic programme of events running alongside the show as well as all the complex, unique and never before seen works of art that will be showing. The exhibition opens on Friday 2^nd September and runs till Tuesday 25^th October, so you’ve got plenty of time to get down and have a look around, especially as admission is free, so there’s no excuses not to get involved.
