The John Moores Painting Prize 2012- Liverpool celebrates artistic triumph!

This year the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool will be hosting an exhibition with pieces from the John Moores painting prize winners. The first prize winner will receive £25,000 and four other runners up will receive £2,500. The winner of the Visitor’s Choice Prize will also be announced towards the end of the exhibition. There is no preference for specific painting styles or a need for vast artistic experience. The pieces chosen for the exhibition and prizes are selected anonymously by submission from the art jury.
