Liverpool Corn Exchange to be Converted into Serviced Apartments
Liverpool council has approved a proposal by one of our partners, Staycity, to convert eight floors of the Liverpool Corn Exchange into an apart hotel. The Brunswick Street building currently houses serviced office suites. However, occupancy levels are falling, due in part to the development of newly built office space near Old Hall Street.
It was announced this week that Staycity will create 202 studio, one- and two-bedroomed serviced apartments in this vibrant city centre location. There will be 130 on-site parking spaces in the basement of the building, and direct access to Fenwick Street and Drury Lane. The conversion is set to be completed in 2017.
