Accommodation during Manchester Pride 2010

Manchester Pride describes itself as a celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life. The 2010 event runs from Friday 27th August to Monday 30th August in Manchester city centre. This year sees performances by Belinda Carlisle, Beverley Knight, Heaven 17 and Four Poofs and a Piano (of Jonathan Ross fame) -amongst many others, and promises to be three continuous days of non-stop partying in Manchester.

The main parade at Manchester Pride 2010 is held on Saturday 28th August starting at 1pm. You are sure to be part of a carnival atmosphere if you follow the parade from it’s starting point at Manchester Deansgate, through St. Anne’s and Albert Sqaure, and then finishing off in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village.

The closing event of Pride is a HIV candle lit vigil held on Monday 30th August at 9pm in Sackville Gardens.
