Celebrate the Fab Four in Liverpool this August

This August sees the return of the annual International Beatle Week – an event which sees the city of Liverpool pay homage to its most famous sons and arguably the greatest band of all time. This year the festivities will take place from the 24th to the 30th August and will no doubt see fans travelling from all around the world to celebrate the legacy of the Fab Four. International Beatle Week is a seven day programme of live music by dozens of artists in venues all across Liverpool. Visitors will have the chance to see Beatles songs being performed in the Philharmonic Hall and the iconic Cavern Club. There will be performances by the best tribute bands around and a number of other events. There will also be a Beatles convention at the Adelphi, auctions of Beatles memorabilia, and guided tours of some of the places made famous by the band.
