Gloucester is the county city of Gloucestershire and is located close to the Welsh border, on the River Severn. Coined the cathedral city of the Cotswolds, Gloucester has a history dating back to Roman times, and has seen unprecedented regeneration in the past ten years, most notable at the city’s historic docks.
