Doctor Who fans will love Museums at Night 2012 in Manchester!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a museum, a library or a heritage site after dark? Well, you have the opportunity to experience such madness at the Museums at Night festival in Manchester this May.
The John Ryland’s Library in Manchester will be hosting a Doctor Who themed night as part of the city event. If you attend, you will get the chance to watch two Doctor Who episodes in the library as well as taking a torch lit tour of the library and solving a tardis related mystery. The night is sure to be eerie and magical, as you can even sleep in the library’s reading room over night! A prize will be given to the best dressed fan who bases their costume on their favourite Doctor Who character, so it’s worth thinking of an inventive suit for fancy dress.
Even if you’re not too into Doctor Who, this is an opportunity that should not be missed! Plenty of other events are being held in Manchester as part of the festival. The Manchester Museum is allowing visitors to experience the secret gardens of the museum whilst also enjoying a glass of pimms.
