FA Cup Final Wembley- London – Accommodation London

The FA Cup. The Cup of dreams. Giant killings galore and a real underdog story for 2010. The final this year will be contested by Chelsea, who are currently sitting on top of the Premier League with only a handful of games to go, and Portsmouth, who are already officially relegated from the Premier League. Their relegation has been something that has been in the spotlight throughout this entire season as they have had more owners that Liz Taylor and have become the first Premier league team to ever go into Administration. It is hard to forget that Pompy actually won the Cup 2 years ago as has been their quick decline from that exact moment their cup manager Harry Redknapp gone to Spurs and also taking arguably 3 of Pompys best players – Defoe, Crouch and Kranjcar – before having what some would call Karma biting him back on Saturday – although I must admit in a very gracious manner losing to his old club Portsmouth 2-0 after extra time. So that’s the background if you didn’t already know and I think having the likes of Chelsea in the Final alongside them was no surprise to anyone as they are the current holders of the Cup and look favourites to reclaim the Premier League from Manchester United before the Final. However, I personally will be rooting for Pompy as the Underdogs and I suspect so will many non Chelsea Fans too.

If you are lucky enough to be going to Wembley for the Final you may want to think about where you are going to stay. Why not choose a serviced apartment instead of a hotel. With a serviced apartment in London you have the added benefit of being able to have a fully fitted kitchen, living room and dining room to relax in no matter the outcome of the game. You can have your champagne in the fridge on ice for those celebrations or commiserations and can sit down and watch the highlights over and over (well that is if you manage to win the game). We have serviced apartments all over London close to all rail and tube networks and all are at good reasonable prices.

The final will take place at Wembley Stadium on May 15th 2010 @ 3pm. If it is still a draw after 90 minutes there will be 30 minutes of added time and if it is still not decided then we will have penalties. So it could be a very long day – especially if you’re on the losing side – and what better way to relax and unwind that putting your feet up in your serviced apartment with all the comforts of home. Last year saw Louis Saha score the fastest recorded FA Cup final goal after just 25 seconds but with Chelsea proving too strong over the full 90 minutes and winning 2-1 in the end it wasn’t to be Evertons year. With Portsmouth having been given a 0% chance of winning by many people then maybe they can again caus a massive upset. I for one will be hoping so.
