What is a Serviced Apartment?

A serviced apartment is a self contained, fully furnished apartment that is rented out on a short term basis (which can be from 1 night upwards) to business travellers and leisure guests.

How can I book an apartment on servicedcitypads.com?

You can either contact SCP, detailing your requirements, via the Contact us section of the website or call SCP Reservations Team on 01244 346 869. Please contact a member of the reservations team who will be happy to discuss your requirements and the booking process will only take a few minutes. All bookings are taken over the telephone OR online and we accept credit cards (not AMEX), debit cards, and bank transfer.

How much will my apartment cost?

You can expect to pay about the same as a decent quality hotel room and apartments can often work out 30% less despite the obvious advantages. Rates from Serviced City Pads are very competitive. You will always be quoted on a per apartment per night basis, as opposed to a per person per night basis as many hotels often do. The price you are quoted will depend on the size of apartment; length of stay and the time of year you wish to stay. It is more expensive to stay when major events (such as The Grand National) are being held in Liverpool.

What is included in the price that I am quoted?

Your apartment will be fully furnished and you will be provided with clean bed linen and towels on arrival. These are included in the price. The kitchen in your apartment will be fully kitted. This is all included in the price. Also included in the price is use of the apartment wi-fi connection (some apartments may charge for this service and some offer wi-fi included), utilities, and council tax levied on the property.

How do I pay?

You will pay a non-refundable deposit to Serviced City Pads to confirm the booking. Methods and timing of payment of the balance varies from one apartment operator to the other.

What time can I check in?

The standard check in time is between 2.30pm and 6pm. This will be confirmed as part of the Booking confirmation process.

What time do I need to check out?

Standard check out time is from 10.30am onwards.

Can I check out later than 10.30am?

Late checkout can usually be arranged for an additional cost, but depends on availability.

Am I charged a booking fee by SCP?

No. The booking service is free of charge to the guest. The 12.5% deposit is taken from the total value of the booking as shown within the booking confirmation email.

How long can I stay?

Generally we operate a three night minimum for the properties we offer. You can however send an enquiry and we can see what we have for your needs. We do however advise that you should think about buying an apartment if you are still with us after 12 months! The general rule is that you can book a Serviced City Pad up to 12 months in advance. What if I decide to cancel?

What will I require to check in?

All you need is your booking reference form that SCP has emailed to you, photographic ID and the card that you made the booking with.

Do you accept pets?

The majority of apartments do not accept pets (unless a registered Guide dog). Please contact the SCP Reservations Team who may be able to help with your requirement.

Can I smoke in the apartment?

No. SCP operates a strict no smoking policy.

What if I cause any damage to the property during my stay?

Each apartment operator will take a security deposit prior to check-in, please contact the operator direct.

What if I do break something during my stay?

The cost of any replacements will be taken from your Security Deposit.

Does the quoted rate include all taxes?

All prices will include VAT unless stated.
