Have you got the Samba Magic? – London Serviced Apartments – Carnaval Del Pueblo – Sunday 1st August 2010

Since 1999 Carnaval Del Pueblo has been an annual festival in the Capital and today stands as the largest Latin-American outdoor festival in Europe. The event attracts all types of people from every type of background for a day of Latin music, dance and fun. The festival offers over 30 international artists from over 19 different Latin-American countries across 4 different stages. This is not to mention the 4 large bars; 200 marquee stalls with a variety of Latin-American, Caribbean and western food & drinks; and the procession that stretches for over 3 miles and includes over 15 floats. The festival brings a latin experience to London with something for everyone and numerous activities in and around Burgess Park.

The carnival has a rich history of attracting some of the best know stars in the Latin-American community. Stars and grammy winners such as Grupo Niche, Oscar d’Leon, Willie Colon, Adalberto Santiage, Gilberto Santarosa and Henry Fiol – the Salsa Giants – as well as Lizandro Mesa and the embajadoresVallenatos, who are almost God Like Statures in Latin America, and who introduced the highly danceable Cumbia and Vallenato music to  the West. It is also full of a wide array of the best London and European based artists performing some of the best Latino rhythms, bring pleasure and excitment to all.

Well if the festival entices you down to London you will need some accommodation to stay at and where better than at one of the fantastic serviced apartments located throughout the city. With a serviced apartment you get more than 50% extra space than you do with a hotel room as well as a fully fitted kitchen and fully furnished living and dining room. With this in mind you have the added benefit of cooking all your own meals and being able to relax infront of the tv on one of the comfortable sofas rather than having to eat out every night or sit on the end of your bed when you are in your room like you would have to do when staying in a hotel.

We have apartments located all over London and all within close proximity to train and tube lines as well as all other forms of public transport so getting to and from the Festival will not be a problem and why not check out some of the other wonderful attractions London has to offer when you are here. You can visit the London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, Nelsons Column, or even catch a show on Broadway or at the O2 Arena (formerly the Millennium Dome).
