Kasabian were formed, and are primarily from Leicester in the East Midlands and are ardent Leicester City fans. They are big football fans and some of their members and their music have been associated with football over the years, including Sergio making appearances in celebrity football matches and on Soccer AM, Tom unveiling England’s new away kit, and the Carlsberg’s England World Cup advert. If you don’t think you’ve heard of Kasabian before, then you will have heard their songs as they have featured as backing music on various computer games and TV programmes.
Kasabian are back on tour through November and December and the UK leg starts in Brighton on 28th November, with the last 2 dates in London’s O2 Arena on 14th and 15th December. The tour is in support of their new album ‘Velociraptor’ which is released on 19th September. The gig is sure to be a great show so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
