Doctor Who Live – Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th October 2010 – new stage show based upon the bbc smash hit.
The new stage show, based upon the BBC’s smash-hit, award winning series Doctor Who, promises to deliver a spectacular audio/visual experience featuring live music, special effects and appearances from the shows’s most popular monsters. Developed in association with Doctor Who Live promises the same excitement, adventure and suspense that viewers have come to expect from the TV programme and will feature specially filmed new video scenes. With an out-of-this-world set, Doctor Who Live will feature special FX, optical illusions and spectacular pyrotechnics building to an epic finale. Specially edited video clips, drawn from the TV Programme will be shown on a massive screen and accompanied by the music of longtime Doctor Who composer Murray Gold. These iconic scores will be brought to life by a 16 piece orchestra live on stage. Doctor Who Live has been concieved as a fully immersive music and monster spectacular. Disney on Ice is a touring show produced by Feld Entertainment under agreement with The Walt Disney Company. Aimed primarily at children, the shows feature figure skaters dressed as Disney Cartoon characters in performances that each derive their music and plot from elements collected from various Disney films and properties; the stars of the show are credited as the Disney characters themselves, performing their parts in mock cameos, while the skaters performing themselves remain anonymous. The productions began in 1981, under the name Walt Disney’s World on Ice.Serviced City Pads.
Disney on Ice currently runs eight productions and touring companies at any given time. The shows have played all over the world, including non-traditional skating regions like Americas, the Middle East, and Asia, Australia and Europe. New shows would usually play two legs in North America, for two years, and then head on to Japan for its third year, and Australia, England, and other parts of the world for the fourth year.

Sting Monday 4th October
Accompanied by the Royal Philarmonic Concert Orchestra, Sting will return to the Arena for the first time since 2008’s sold-out reunion shows with the Police. Fan favourites from the Police songbook – including Roxanne, Every breath you Take and Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic – will be perfomed alongside his hits from Stings award-winning solo career including Englishman in New York, Fields of Gold and I Ever Lose My Faith in You. Drawing from numerous multi-platinum albums and countless number one songs, Stings back catalogue will be reinterpreted with brand new orchestrations arranged and conducted by Meastro Steven Mercurio who has previously worked with Pavarotti and Bocelli.
