Annie Leibovitz was born in 1949 in Westbury Connecticut and was part of the large family 6 siblings, her father was an air force lieutenant and mother a dance instructor, Leibovitz went to the San Francisco Art Institute and originally studied painting however developed a real passion for photography. After leaving the art institute Annie went to Israel to live on a Kibbutz for a couple of years then returned to America to join a new magazine start up Rolling Stone as a staffing reporter after a couple of years was promoted to Chief Staffing photographer and spent many years photographing the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and went on to become more famous than some of her portraits. I really enjoyed some of Annie’s new work which included a wonderful photograph of Niagara Falls in Ontario Canada, I feel this really has been a journey for Annie and would recommend the visit. We stayed in a London Apartment through Serviced City Pads.
