Serviced Apartments in Nottingham for Girls Aloud Reunion Tour

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their formation, Girls Aloud have put aside their differences and reunited to release a second greatest hits album, a new single for Children In Need and a greatest hits tour, ‘Ten- The Hits Tour 2013’. The girls will be bringing the tour to Nottingham on 19th March 2013. It’s one not to be missed! The group, made up of Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh, were created back in 2002 on TV show, ‘Popstars: The Rivals’. The concept of the show was an audition process similar to X Factor resulting in two rival pop groups- one all male and one all female. The bands would battle it out for Christmas number 1. Girls Aloud beat their male counterpart, One True Voice, to the number 1 spot with their single, ‘Sounds of the Underground’.

The girls released their debut album, ‘Sounds of the Underground’ in early 2003, followed by ‘What Will The Neighbours Say’ in 2004. Their third album, ‘Chemistry’, was released in 2005. This was followed up with a first Greatest Hits album which sparked rumours of a split, although this didn’t come to pass at the time. Their fourth album, ‘Tangled Up’ hit the shops in 2007 and their final album before their 3 year hiatus, ‘Out of Control’, was released in 2008. The band went their separate ways in 2009 although they would not rule out the possibility of reformation and it was never formally acknowledged that Girls Aloud had ‘split up’.
