Sheffield serviced apartments for Christmas shopping trips to Meadowhall

If you’re heading to Sheffield to do some Christmas shopping this year then make sure you pay a visit to Meadowhall. Meadowhall is the largest shopping centre in Yorkshire and is the eighth largest in the UK. It was opened in September 1990 and at the time was the second largest shopping centre in the UK. It has over 280 stores including high street chains such as Topshop, Primark, Marks & Spencer and Apple Store. There are also top fashion labels such as Hollister, AllSaints, Armani Exchange and Timberland. In addition to this there is a Vue cinema with eleven screens and a large dining quarter which has food outlets ranging from McDonalds to Nandos to Zizzis.

Meadowhall is easily accessible from Sheffield city centre and it has its own public transport interchange (the only shopping centre in the UK to do so). The interchange is linked to the Sheffield Supertram network; travelling between the city centre and Meadowhall takes around 15 minutes. The interchange also has a large bus station which covers routes mainly from Sheffield and Rotherham. Travelling by train is simple as the shopping centre has a multi-platform train station. Meadowhall can also be reached by car by the entrance located at junction 34 of the M1.
