Visit London for the Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee

2012 marks the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II to the accession to the throne of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Queen Elizabeth succeeded her father King George VI there will be many special events taking place and to celebrate a Bank Holiday has been moved to June 4 as this will be the actual Queens birthday which will result in a 4 day honour holiday for the people of Great Britain so why not stay in london. I have made special plans to visit the capital to spend the whole four days celebrating the Queen. I have already chosen my London Apartment, booked through a very helpful company Serviced City Pads, you can contact the reservations team on 0844 335 8866.
A large event will be staged in London on that weekend, which is to include a diamond jubilee concert which we believe will be produced by the incredibly talented Gary Barlow who is the genius behind Take That and of course the most senior judge on the most watch show in television ‘The X Factor’. There will also be a maritime parade of boats and events along the River Thames on the 3rd of June, I belive this could be up to 1,000 boats which will be the largest flotilla on the river for 350 years and some 1 million people are expected to watch from the banks of the thames. The Queen will lead this flotilla in a specially designed Royal barge and I bielive this will be a most wonderful event.
The 2012 Olympic Park will also be named the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park, I’m so excited about this truly magical event, myself and the family will be staying in a Serviced Apartment in London.
