Visit the Titanic exhibition during your stay in London

The story of the Titanic is an incredible one. A huge passenger liner that was thought of as being unsinkable that did exactly that when it hit a huge iceberg of it’s maiden voyage across the Atlantic ocean. This new exhibition at London’s o2 arena runs from November 2010 through to 1st May 2011 and Serviced City Pads is suggesting that you should include a visit to the exhibition as part of your London city break.

You will be able to see exclusive video footage of the wreck of the Titanic that was filmed during a recent expedition. There are over 300 artefacts from the wreckage as well as recreated rooms from the interior of the ship – including the boiler room, cargo hold and 1st and 3rd class cabins (don’t worry you don’t have to stay here during your London visit, you will have already booked a serviced apartment in London with Serviced City Pads). You will also be able to experience just how cold it would have felt encountering such a huge iceberg as the Titanic did. Artefacts at the exhibition include a passengers watch; a perfumiers wares; the steering wheel and porthole from the ship; as well as the telegraph machine that would send messages to the engine room. You will be able to get a perspective of what it must have been like to have been on the Titanic during that fateful day in November 1912 (hopefully far more than you would have learned from watching the 1990’s Leonardo DiCaprio film that recreated the sinking of the worlds most famous sunken ship.

Serviced City Pads is continually adding new London serviced apartments to it’s portfolio and if you are planning a short stay in London then you should call Serviced City Pad. We have a wide selection of serviced apartments in london that continues to grow – with studios in the city of London, 1 bedroom serviced apartments in the West End and larger apartments across Central London. We are able to offer a wide selection of apartments to suit many sizes of groups (whether you are staying in London with your family or visiting on your own) as well as varying budgets.

Serviced apartments in London are often seen as a fantastic alternative to staying in a London hotel as the apartments offer a more relaxed atmosphere and better value for money. If you are interested in staying in a London serviced apartment but would like to know more (many people who stay in hotels in London need to be told of the benefits of staying in serviced apartments). Once the benefits are understood it becomes clear that the serviced apartment is an appealing and viable alternative to the four walls of an expensive London hotel room.

Although the Titanic exhibition is located at the o2 (near Greenwich), with the fantastic transport links that London has Serviced City Pads would suggest organising accommodation for you anywhere across Central London and you will have easy access to what is sure to be an extremely interesting exhibition.
