Additionally, she is one of the few players on the WTA who uses the reverse forehand often. Instead of using the traditional volley or overhead smash, she often prefers to hit a powerful ‘swinging’ volley when approaching the net or attacking lobs. Sharapova is thought to have good speed around the court, especialy considering her height.Serviced City Pads.
Towards the beggining of her career, Sharapova;s first and second serves were regarded as powerful, and she was believed to possess one of the best deliveries on the Tour. Since the beggining of 2007, however problems with her shoulder have reduced the effetiveness of her serve so in 2008 Maria took a break from the tennis circuit to recover her body form accessive tennis. On her comeback since 2009, she has used an abbreviation motion, which was somewhat less powerful, and though producing aces but also very high number of double faults. After her loss in the 2009 US Open, Maria returned to a more elongated motion, simialr to her pre-surgery serve. Maria’s speed serves are back and in Birmingham 2010 hit a 121 mph serve the fastest of her career. Maria has had a coach change in 2011 and has made her more consistent with her serves, reducing the number of double faultsand delivering 70 – 80% first serves. Maria Sharapova is now through to the Wimbledon quarter finals and we believe will be a worthy winner in 2011. Serviced City Pads.Andy Murray

Murray is best described as a defensive counter puncher, with professional tennis coach Paul Annacone citing that Murray ‘ may be the best counter puncher on tour today’. His strenght includes groundstrokes with low error rate, the ability to anticipate and react, and his transition from defence to offence with speed, whcih enables him to hit winners from defensive positions. Murrays tactics usually involve passive exchanges from the baseline, usually waiting for an unforced error. However, Murray has been critised for his general passive style of play and lack of offensive weapons, prompting some to call him a pusher. Murray is known for being one of the most intelligent tacticians on the court often constructing points. One of his greatest strenghts, however, is his first serve. Andy is currently thorugh to the Wimbledon Quarters finals, the crowd are behind him on Murray mount. Serviced City Pads.
