X Factor Live Tour hits Nottingham, book accommodation early!

Anyone with functioning eyes and ears will have heard that it was the final of X Factor last weekend, and the artificially formed girl band Little Mix were crowned the heroic winners, singing their little hearts out all the way to victory. As with every year of its existence, Simon Cowell’s money-making juggernaut does not just stop in December after the shows finale and the almost 100% guaranteed Christmas No.1, but then for the early part of the following year all the final contestants take part in a UK-wide tour. And for 2012, Nottingham will experience the SYCO operated machine as the Tour arrives in the Captial FM Arena on Wednesday 29^th February 2012.

13 million people tuned in this year to watch the first ever girl group win X Factor as Little Mix sang their way to victory. 2011 was a vintage year for the X Factor with lots of fun, tears, controversy and entertainment on show. Names such as Craig Colton, Misha B, Janet Devlin and Frankie Cocozza are bound to go down in pop history and are sure to line the walls of future halls of fame. 2011 also marked a big change as it was the first without Simon Cowell as a judge. Also the ever-popular Geordie Cheryl Cole was not present. Instead they were replaced by a new super-line up consisting of the immovable object that is Louis Walsh, Cheshire’s favourite son Gary Barlow, Destiny’s Child’s lead performer Kelly Rowland and hip-hop queen and role-model Tulisa Contostavlos. And boy did they put on a show.
